Refers to DAML smart contracts. A contract represents any combination of rights and obligations. Everything from Accounts, to positions to settlement obligations can be represented as contracts. A contract instance is instantiated based on a contract template. Contract templates may define arbitrary parameters such as settlement amounts and units that must be provided when the contract is instantiated.contracts encode the rights, obligations and choices of the parties and the choices on the CSP that they can exercise. |
