Address Business Values

The CSP will validate the following rules for addresses:

ISO 20022 Element	Condition	Guidelines
Address Line 1	Mandatory	First line of the address.
Address Line 2	Optional	Second line of the address, if required.
Address Line 3	Optional	Third line of the address, if required.
Address Line 4	Optional	Fourth line of the address, if required. Cannot be provided for Account registered address.
Address Line 5	Optional	Fifth line of the address, if required. Cannot be provided for Account registered address.
Town Name	Mandatory	Town name, city or suburb.
Post Code	Optional	Mandatory for Australian addresses and must be 4 digits. Optional for non-Australian addresses
State (Country Sub Division)	Optional	Mandatory for Australian addresses and must be either: NSW, ACT, TAS, QLD, SA, NT, WA, VIC. Optional for non-Australian addresses.
Country	Mandatory	Country code aligned to ISO 3166 alpha 2 standards (2 character country code). Refer to ISO 20022 Messaging - TM - Country codes and descriptions.

All address elements must only contain the allowable ASCII 32 characters as outlined in the table below.

Address Elements Allowed: 'Y'; Not allowed 'N'.
