The notes detail the scope of the first drop of CDE code, released in April 2019.
It includes available functionality of the CDE environment. Full details are provided below.

Available Functionality
The CDE environment supports early access development and low volume transaction and functional testing.
- Party identification in CDE Code Drop 1 is limited to UIC format only. BIC support is available in future releases.
- Housekeeping of unmatched bilateral requests is not available for CDE Drop 1. This will be available in subsequent releases.
- For direct connectivity, both ISO 20022 ingress and egress instructions are supported. Resultant state change contracts may be visible, but are not documented in this release and are subject to change.
- Final security, resiliency and fail-over models are not present in the CDE environment.
- Transactional data may be lost in the event of a system restart or upgrade. The ASX will re-populate environments with seeded data.
- The ASX is currently in the process of reviewing the account opening process for CDE. For further information, refer to the What's New for March 2019.
