EIS
The External Interface Specification (EIS) for the legacy CHESS system provided detailed information about the protocol used to communicate with legacy CHESS. This included the format and content of messages which were exchanged between CHESS users and the legacy CHESS computer system, and the format and meaning of the fields within each message. It also included allowable data values and their meanings where applicable. EIS will be replaced by the ISO 20022 messaging standard. See also:
