Demand Transaction

A demand transaction is one submitted by a participant to effect a movement on a CHESS holding which they control. The transaction is processed immediately.

A demand transaction may involve an immediate transfer of funds through CHESS (against payment or DvP) otherwise, a demand transaction is not included with other transaction (free of payment or FoP).

A demand transaction is not part of daily batch settlement.
