The CSP sends a Settlement Instruction Status Advice to the Settlement Participant, advising that their Settlement Instructions have been cancelled by ASX Housekeeping or ASX Operations.

Settlement Instruction Status Advice - Cancellation

A Settlement Instruction Status Advice is sent to the Participant, advising that the Settlement instruction was cancelled by ASX Housekeeping or ASX Operations.

Transaction IdAccount Owner Transaction Identification

The Identifier of the Suspended Settlement Instruction that has been cancelled.

For a Unilateral Scheduled Settlement Instructions and BSSIs, this will be the Transaction Id that was sent in the Settlement Instruction Request (sett_105).

For an NNGMT or Novated Gross Market Trade, this will be the Transaction Id that was sent in the Trade Confirmation Notification (sett_101).

For a Novated Rescheduled Instruction, this will be the Transaction Id that was sent in the Settlement Transaction Generation Notification (sett_130) when the Novated Rescheduled Instruction was generated.

Counterparty Transaction IdAccount Servicer Transaction Identification

The Transaction Id of the counterparty of the Suspended Settlement Instruction that has been cancelled.

The Counterparty Transaction Id will only be populated where the Suspended Settlement Instruction is a BSSI. This will be the Transaction Id that was sent in the Settlement Instruction Request (sett_105).

For an NNGMT, this will be the Transaction Id that was sent in the Trade Confirmation Notification (sett_101).

Obligation IdMarket Infrastructure Transaction IdentificationThe unique Obligation Id of the Suspended Settlement Instruction that has been cancelled.
ReasonProcessing Status / Cancelled / Reason / Code / Proprietary / Identification

Indicates the reason the Suspended Settlement Instruction was cancelled, either:

  • ASX Initiated Housekeeping (HOUS); or
  • Where the cancellation was initiated by ASX Operations:
    • ASX Operations Request (ASXR);
    • ASX Clear Discretion (ASXC);
    • Invalid Trade Receipt Time (ASXT); or
    • Invalid Price Variance (ASXV).
